Level Overview"Test Subject" is a single player, stand-alone mission for Half Life 2, allowing the player to utilize a companion headcrab in solving puzzles.
The scientists that run the facility are trying to train headcrabs to work with humans. Their experiments have progressed with surprising ease, until now. They’ve lost several scientists to failed training and are in need of someone that can hold their own against a headcrab, and also test complex puzzles. That’s where Gordon Freeman comes in. The scientists at the facility knew of Gordon Freeman’s extensive experience with headcrabs, and know that he’s the most capable person for the job. |
