High ConceptM.O.O.S.E. is a side-scrolling puzzle platformer in which the main character, Milton the moose, navigates through the environment by manipulating magnetic rays with the prototype mag-gun, M.O.O.S.E.
The goal of M.O.O.S.E. is to reach the end of the level by manipulating the magnetism of objects. The player achieves this by pulling or pushing magnetic blocks, latching himself onto magnetic objects, and using magnetic blocks to bypass hazards. |

- In the final level, the player enters the room (1) and can see his squad-mates behind bars (6). This motivates the player "to reach your squad". Because they can't jump that high they must go all the way around the room, using skills they've learned throughout the other levels.
- The player jumps across laser pits and utilizes moving platforms to cross the room.
- The player now finds a moving platform that doesn't bring them all the way up, forcing them to use their magnet-gun to pull themselves up the magnet-lined wall.
- After reaching the checkpoint, the player is faced with a laser pit paired with magnets in the floor for launching. They must launch themselves up to avoid the lasers, and quickly swap charges halfway to prevent pulling themselves into the lasers below.
- Once they pull the blocks down they are able to safely jump down on top of the blocks and arrange them to reach the captive squad-mates.
- Upon reaching them the ending triggers, the story is completed, and the credits roll.
